This book provokes you to consider perspectives you hadn't thought of, no matter how open minded you thought you already were.When people think about someone with disabilities, we as a society often think of what this person can't do and how their limitations will affect us. This book opens your eyes and remind you that there's so much more to them and what they can do, and that our own prejudice and prejudgments burden them more than their disabilities do us. This book broadens your views through heartfelt stories from the author's life experiences.
I enjoyed this book very much, and would recommend anyone and everyone to give it a gander.

The Gimpy Monologues is a book that encompasses the soul in it's entirety. I found myself toggling between smiles and tears as its content will break you down to bare bones and reintroduce you to the definition of humanity. It makes you question your own character and experience life through the eyes of others. Beautifully written, the book is definitely a must read for anyone who is looking to enhance their contribution to society as a whole. The author is brilliant and has a way of communicating with his readers that is personal and unique. The books contributors have managed to deliver the same feeling and emotion in their works. I highly recommend adding The Gimpy Monologues to anyone and everyone's collection.
